The Basin Project

Situated in one the most sought-after locations, The Basin in Victoria, this design pays homage to its picturesque surroundings. Not only was it important to achieve an aesthetically pleasing home but the clients wanted to aim for a very high thermally rated house that would be very efficient to run for decades to come.

On the exterior we proceeded with the classic Hamptons neutral colour palette, with the addition of stone cladding to the bottom surround, to bring in the wonderful deep amber and brown tones, for a contrasting feature that ties the dwelling into its lush surrounding.

We continued with the neutral colour palette throughout the interior of the home to keep in line with client’s tastes and desires, with the only exception being the up-stairs adult’s retreat where the client wanted a private and intimate room where they can relax and entertain in.
